PDPU-Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University was established in 4th April 2007 as a full-fledged university with 120+ acres green campus in Gandhinagar the capital city of Gujarat State and the native place of India's current Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Dr. Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries is the founder and the President of University Board of Governors of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University-PDPU.
Out of the 60 government and private universities and other higher educational institutions in Gujarat State, the University Grants Commission-UGC has granted autonomy to Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.

PDPU benefit for Bangladeshi students
Undergraduate courses offered at PDPU are of four years that is equivalent to a honors degree in Bangladesh. As a result, Bangladeshi students will be able to apply for BCS and Government jobs having an Engineering, BBA (Hons) BA (Hons), B Com (Hons), B Sc (Hons) etc degree from PDPU.Usually, Indian universities offer 3-years BBA, B Com, BA, B Sc courses. PDPU is the exceptional university in India offers 4-years undergraduate courses to Indian and International students. So, this is an extra advantage for Bangladeshi students to study at PDPU.
PDPU Scholarship for Bangladeshi Students
PDPU announced a special scholarship scheme for Bangladeshi students in association is GEE Bangladesh. Maximum 20 students will get the benefit of studying at PDPU under the special scholarship scheme. Apply at the earliest to confirm your seat.B Tech Scholarship only for Bangladeshi Students
GPA 4.5+ in HSC exam is eligible for 50% scholarship.
GPA 4-4.49 in HSC exam is eligible for 40% scholarship.
GPA below 4 in HSC exam is eligible for 20% scholarship.
M Tech Scholarship only for Bangladeshi Students
CGPA 3.50+ is eligible for 50% scholarship.
CGPA 3-3.49 is eligible for 40% scholarship.
CGPA 2.50-2.99 is eligible for 20% scholarship.
Under Graduate Scholarship for other programs
GPA 4.5+ in HSC exam is eligible for 50% scholarship.
GPA 4-4.49 in HSC exam is eligible for 40% scholarship.
GPA below 4 in HSC exam is eligible for 20% scholarship.
50% Flat Scholarship is applicable for the MBA program
No Scholarship for MA Programs
No Scholarship for Ph. D Programs.
100% tuition fee waiver will be awarded to 5 Bangladeshi students based on outstanding result in the qualifying examinations. Last date of application for the 100% tuition fee waiver is 25 May 2019. HSC appeared students are eligible for maximum 50% scholarship.
